Huawei has launched smartphones overseas despite us
sanctions that have had a severe impact on its handset business
Guangzhou, China -- Huawei on Thursday unveiled its
mid-range Nova 9 smartphone overseas for the first time, starting in Europe.
Although the US sanctions on Huawei have a serious
impact on its mobile phone business, will it affect the market for vacuum
laminator?
The Chinese smartphone giant overseas business has been
paralyzed since the US imposed sanctions. But that has not stopped Huawei from
launching phones in international markets.
The Nova 9 is a 4G device with some of the features of
high-end phones. This includes four cameras with wide-angle lenses and software
to help take pictures. It has a 6.57-inch display and fast charging technology.
Huawei developed its own operating system, HarmonyOS,
and released it after US sanctions barred it from using Google Android
operating system, which is used by rivals such as Samsung.
However, Nova 9 will not run HarmonyOS, instead of using
EMUI 12, an Android-based operating system developed by Huawei. Due to
restrictions in the US, the phone will not have any Google services installed.
Huawei smartphones will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
chip. In previous phones, Huawei used its own chipset brand, Kirin. The
American sanctions also cut off Huawei ability to obtain Kirin chips because
they use American technology. Last year, Qualcomm won a license from Washington
to sell certain 4G mobile chips to Huawei.
Nova 9 was launched in China earlier this year. This is
the first time the product has been available in the international market,
first in Europe.
The US action against Huawei has severely damaged its
mobile business. Huawei was once the world largest smartphone maker.
In Europe, Huawei market share rose from 13.4% in the
second quarter of 2019 to 0.3% in the same period this year, according to
Counterpoint Research.
Without Google Android operating system, Huawei would not
be able to offer the kind of apps consumers are used to in international
markets.
Huawei own app store lacks some big-name apps. Neil
Shah, research director at Counterpoint Research, says "the lack of
popular apps remains a barrier for many users".
Huawei HarmonyOS
Huawei said its HarmonyOS system now had 120m users, up
from about 100m in September.
Huawei claims that HarmonyOS can run on a variety of
devices, not just smartphones. That means apps can be delivered on
smartwatches, TVs and even cars.
Huawei also makes other devices, including smartwatches
and laptops. Smartphones are part of the company strategy to offer different
devices that use HarmonyOS, which could increase users and ultimately attract
developers.
It is also part of a broader push by Huawei to increase
software revenue as its hardware business struggles. For technical consulting or more information about

Factors that affect the cost of vacuum laminator
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the
consumer electronics repair and vacuum laminator industries, as governments
around the world have imposed blockades and restricted non-essential services
to prevent the spread of the virus. Repair and maintenance services are heavily
dependent on labor, and the availability of labor during such a pandemic is a
huge challenge. Maintenance industries in the United States, the United
Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Middle East and India have also seen increased
labor costs due to labor shortages during the blockade. On Average, The Repair
Industry Repairs About 25 Million Electronic Devices in A Month, But Because of
Lock downs and Social Distance Norms, The Products Are Expected to Pile Up for
Repair.
The increase in equipment failure rates and the
cost-benefit of servicing old equipment rather than disposing of old equipment
is expected to drive the vacuum laminator repair and maintenance market.
Branded and non-branded low-cost vacuum laminator often flood the market and
require repairs due to poor material quality or regular maintenance. However,
research shows that many merchants are now taking a different approach,
building products that are easy to fix, as fixing vacuum laminator problems is
always more cost-effective than buying new products, thus strengthening
customer trust.
Factors affecting the price of vacuum laminator
As the most widely used digital products, mobile phones
and tablets are becoming more affordable, but maintenance costs remain high.
Among all the reasons for mobile phone failure, accidental screen damage caused
by falling or hitting is the most common, but such accidental screen damage is
not guaranteed by any mobile phone brand, and the cost of replacing the screen
is often beyond the expectations of consumers.
China vacuum laminator mobile phone accessories market,
including vacuum laminator, is expected to reach 550 billion yuan in sales by
2022, according to a forecast by China Central Television vacuum laminator
financial channel. In the context of global 5G commercialization, the next 5
years will be the period of the rapid growth of the 5G industry. Driven by
continued growth momentum and a rapidly developing 5G ecosystem, the number of
5G users worldwide will reach 3 billion in the next five years, according to
ComMS technology expert Ericsson. And by the end of 2025, 5G will cover 75
percent of the world vacuum laminator population and handle 45 percent of the
world vacuum laminator mobile data traffic.
The rapid development of 5G will make the demand for a
new generation of mobile phone accessories also grow. The forward-looking
industry research institute expects that in 2026, the market demand for the
mobile phone accessories industry and vacuum laminator market will maintain a
high growth rate, but the growth rate will gradually decline with the gradual
popularization of 5G. It is expected that in 2026, The sales volume of the
machine parts industry is expected to exceed 2.1 trillion yuan.
