Yesterday (9th) issued a document, starting from today, the domestic trade price of rutile titanium dioxide will be raised by RMB 500 per ton, and the foreign trade price will be raised by USD 80 per ton. The domestic trade price of anatase titanium dioxide THA2000 and Dingxing anatase titanium dioxide PDA1000 are raised by RMB 500 per ton, and the foreign trade price is raised by USD 80 per ton.

Starting from July 1, 2021, the sales price of various types of titanium dioxide (including sulfuric acid method titanium dioxide and chloride method titanium dioxide) will be increased by RMB 500 per ton to downstream customers based on the original price.

Titanium dioxide has continued its upward trend recently. Since the beginning of the year, the increase has been close to 30%, which is more than 60% compared to the same period last year. According to the market response, domestic and foreign manufacturers still have expectations of price adjustments, which are mainly due to rising costs and the improvement of the industry supply and demand pattern. Yesterday (9th) the titanium dioxide sector rose short-term, Jinpu Titanium rose more than 6%, Lubei Chemical, Anning shares, Ananda, Huiyun Titanium and others followed the rise.
